I just wanted to say that I totally agree with your resolution! On another note, your comical thoughts and insights about the trials and tribulations of parenthood and writing has brought me some great smiles and laughs. Keep up the great blogging and I look forward to more in the new year.
I haven't spoken Italian since 1998, actually. But "turkey" is "tacchino", which I remember because I was dating a vegan from my Italian class, and his mom didn't know what to make for Thanksgiving.
