That's calendula, by the way. The thing that's in all the natural diaper creams. It's supposedly very soothing. When applied to the bottom-- not when eating.
What can I say? It's not like it came with an instruction booklet.
As an aging hippie, I assure you that you can grow calendula in your very own garden so that you can nibble as you like. Or make healing salves. Loved your reports from your journey.

Reminds me of those stories of people who took suppositories orally. I mean that in the nicest, most flower-power-y patchouli scented way, of course.
